Sandton CBD from a distance

The Park is located at corner of William Nicol and Grayston Drive. From here you can partially see Sandton's skyline. We need more to see more parks being renovated especially Joubert Park in Johannesburg CBD.

Eland Reloaded

I passed Braamfontein the other day and I just had to take this shot of the Eland. Next to the Eland there's a residential apartment that is being renovated and on the other side of the road With University have started with their Billion Rand + projects. In four years time Wits and the whole of Braamfontein will never be the same again.

Legacy Corner Hotel

Sandton is currently a crane haven and more projects are said to be on the pipeline and so we shall wait impatiently for them to be revealed. Legacy Corner is being constructed at corner of 5th avenue and Maude Street and it will be 16 floors high. The good thing is that new developments consist of street level retail which is a positive move towards creating a true urban environment.

Southern Sun in Hyde Park

This hotel is an extension of a shopping mall called Hyde Park. It will be completed this year and I must say that the architects have done a stunning Job in adding this babe on top of a shopping mall.

I personally like Resorts and Bed-and-Breakfast for accommodation but would love to spend a night here and at Mapungubwe Hotel in the Johannesburg CBD.
